Munce Racing is excited to form a new association with Archer Park Racing Pty Ltd which will add another dimension to the growing stable.

Archer Park Racing Pty Ltd have agreed to transfer horses to Munce Racing in the coming weeks, which will increase the number of horses under the care of former champion jockey-turned-trainer Chris Munce to over 70 horses in work at one time.

The new partnership will see former jockey Alan Russell join Munce Racing in the position of Foreman. Russell brings with him a wealth of knowledge and racing industry experience having worked as an apprentice, senior rider and foreman for Liam Birchley for a number of years.

The arrangement will also provide Munce Racing with access to facilities at the Archer Park Spelling and Training Facility, including a state-of-the-art water walker, which adds to the stable’s existing pre-training and spelling arrangements.

Trainer Chris Munce said he was excited about the new partnership as the Eagle Farm based stable continues to grow and evolve.

“We are really grateful for the opportunity to train for Archer Park Racing Pty Ltd,” said Munce.

“It’s an exciting new partnership as it will add to the quantity and quality of bloodstock in the stable.

“It’s also a ‘win-win’ for our existing owners as this new partnership provides us with access to the facilities at Archer Park, which gives the stable another option to vary our horses training regime in addition to our existing spelling and pre-training arrangements.

“We’re also looking forward to having Alan and other staff join our team as we expand our operation.”

Munce Racing recently celebrated its 200th winner which followed on from Boomsara’s memorable win in this year’s $2 Million Magic Millions 3YO Guineas.
