Munce Racing apprentice Isabella Rabjones will take her first rides back in the saddle as an apprentice at Warwick on Saturday.

Rabjones, who held an apprentice license over four years ago, has made the decision to resume her apprenticeship under the guidance of former Champion jockey Chris Munce.

“I was race riding in 2015, I was apprentice at Deagon for about six months,” said Rabjones.

“I rode in about 50 races and had six winners but I struggled a bit with my weight and was a bit immature.

“I moved down to Melbourne and learnt a lot down there, grew up a little bit and I think now is the right time to make a comeback.

Rabjones has been riding trackwork for Munce Racing over the past 12 months and since formally resuming her apprenticeship has been regularly riding in jump outs and barrier trials recently in the lead-up to her comeback.

“I’ve been riding trackwork for Chris for over a year now and he’s been really good, he has taught me a lot.”

Rabjones’ first rides will be on the Munce Racing pair TWERK and BLACK WHITTO, who both head to Saturday’s meeting at Warwick.
